LASU STUDENTS PROTEST AGAINST INCREMENT OF SCHOOL FEE

Students of Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo on Friday morning staged protest against recent fee hike, calling on the government to immediately return to the old fee.

The protest Daily Sun learnt was coordinated by a group identified as

Concerned LASU STUDENTS following an

alleged refusal by the Students Union executives to spearhead the agitation for a reversal.

The management of LASU recently announced increment in fees for fresh students in 100 level while the old students will pay the old existing fees.

The aggrieved students carried placards

with different inscriptions denouncing the

increment in fees and demanded for a reversal.

The protest disrupted academic and

administrative activities on campus. Many

senior management staff stayed away

from their office.
